August 16, 2014 | by admin

With the aim to bring young people into the saving grace of Jesus Christ and make them the agenda of the Lord, Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) youth department Friday began a 3-day “Catch them Young” crusade under the theme “Jesus and you” at Thilixu Baptist Church, Dimapur.
Speaking during the crusade, Rev. Kilang Jamir said the only way to know the Jesus Christ is through the Cross. If one wants to know Christ, then one must need to come to the Cross of deliverance and victory and said Christian life journey is incomplete without coming to Jesus and “if we are not born again, it’s no use as a Christian.”
He also said that many Nagas fear God but they don’t know the real fear of the Lord.
While challenging the gathering specially the youth, Rev. Kilang said: “Let us not live in denial or justify our sin but take a firm stand and repent/confess to know the Christ if you wants to know Christ know him as a savior not as protector, healer and provider, let us be honest, truthful to the Christ.”
He said the mission of the Christ was incomplete without people reaching to Him.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by BYFD present, Soyhunlo Kath while welcome address was delivered by NBCC youth secretary Assellie Khrose.
Special song was presented by Konyak Baptist Church. Kuda Baptist Church presented a musical piece, greeting message was delivered by NBCC youth secretary Vikuo Rhi, message in song was presented by Thilixu Baptist Church Choir and scripture was read out by Zeme Baptist Church, Lungyingwanlie youth director.
