Minister for forest Dr. Nicky Kire urged the bank staff to be customer friendly while discharging their duties. He said this while addressing the gathering during computer donation programme of the State Bank of India (SBI) Lerie branch Kohima under corporate social responsibility (CSR) at Public school Dzüvürü Kohima on Friday.
Appreciating SBI for noble deeds, minister said he was aware of SBI contributing for the welfare of the society and encouraged them to carry out such activities in future also.
Stating that people were now living in the computer age, he encouraged the students to take keen interest in learning computer. He also advised the students and the school to make best use of computer.
The programme was compeered by A. Lolly Moses DGS, SBISA, invocation prayer by Narayan chaplain Bethel hospital, welcome address was delivered by Abalie Medoze headmaster Public school Dzüvürü Kohima, short speech by Watikumla Ao chief manager PBD SBI Lerie, vote of thanks was proposed by L. Hangshing chief manager SBI Lerie. One set of computer was handed over to headmaster PSD by Dr. Kire.
