ANGTA Mon demands regularization

September 4, 2014 | by admin

All Nagaland Graduate Teachers’ Association [ANGTA (1999-04)] Mon unit while extending support to its central body has demanded that school education department review government Order Dated Kohima, March 24, 2012 and soon regularize their services w.e.f. the date of appointment instead of March 1, 2011.
Pointing out that regularization w.e.f. the date of appointment was given to graduate teachers till 1992, ANGTA Mon president Welu Konyak, in a press release, said uniformity in seniority arrangement should therefore be maintained. Further, ANGTA Mon appealed to the school education E to follow the same/old system of arrangement for all GTs so that further complications could be avoided. Maintaining that department had regularized their services on being satisfied with service rendered during ad hoc period, ANGTA unit asserted seniority and other benefits also must be taken into account as shown in earlier cases.
The association said it was unacceptable that their regularization had been put behind 2010 ROP after serving for many years.
It also stated that finance department order Date Kohima January 28, 2010 should not be enforced, as their appointments were made much prior to these rules. ANGTA unit has therefore demanded the responsible authority to take up the issue seriously for the welfare of the teachers.
