Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) Thursday sent off first batch of medical branch and engineering branch students numbering 38 to Hyderabad while second batch comprising 45 students left Nagaland Friday. According to NSF president Tongpang, NSF officials would be accompanying the students till Hyderabad, saying that all the students would take flight from Guwahati.
He informed that total of students to pursue medical and engineering studies was 81 and 124 respectively.
Tongpang also said NSF in collaboration with Dr. YSR educational and welfare foundation took up the initiative to give opportunity to the Naga students.
Further, he disclosed that more batches of engineering students would leave state on September 17, 18 and 19.
