State Bank of India Kiphire branch visited Langzanger village under Sitimi block of Kiphire district Sunday led by branch manager Bradip Bomick.
The branch manager acknowledged Langzanger villagers for preferring to open their accounts in SBI bank and said that more villagers would be benefited from the Bank if they keep the relationship with the bank.
More than one hundred Langzanger villagers has opened new account in the SBI under Prime Minister Jan-Dan Yojona scheme which was announced by the Prime Minister of India during his Independence day speech, 2014.
With this Langzanger village will be first village to have highest bank account holders in Kiphire district.
Meanwhile, chairman of Langzanger village council T. Thrikyuse Sangtam appreciated SBI Kiphire branch for having concern for the village and for visiting the Langzanger.
