Three local bands namely ‘First Chapter’ from Wokha, ‘Zephyr’ and ‘Steadfast Faith’ both from Kohima will battle for the ultimate prize during the grand finale of the Christian Contemporary Music ‘Rock For the King 2014’ contest organized by the Naga Feed Entertainment, Wokha, in the month of November.
On the finale event, the three bands will perform three numbers each. The winner will walk away with a grand cash prize of Rs 50,000 in addition to individual prizes. The winner will be judged on the basis of 50% public voting and 50% points by the judges on their final performance. Fans of Zephyr, Steadfast Faith & the First Chapter can vote before November.
Zephyer Band: Tsela on the lead guitar, Khriela on second guitar, B Langshen on drums, Chobeo on vocals & Velasuto on bass. Band manager is Langshen. The Band aims to ‘Spread good music’. Zephyr code number for voting is # 2.
Steadfast Faith: Enchanthung Lotha on vocals, Atu Rupre-o on the Bass guitar, Zajamo Kithan on the guitar, Aditya Jamm on the drums and Albert Patton as the band manager. The band aims to “Spread the message of love through music”. The band’s voting code number is # 1.
First Chapter: Band members are Jenithung Kithan on the guitar, Rhontsuthung Yanthan on bass, Nzanthung Kithan on vocals, Amongthung Ngullie on drums & Zenga Ngullie as the band manager. The band aims to “Encourage the people that we are all one”. First Chapter voting code is # 3
