Dimasa Public Organization (DPO) and Dimasa Women Welfare Society, Nagaland (DWWSN) have strongly condemned the alleged rape and murder of 9-year-old girl at Amaluma village September 14 allegedly by one truck driver Bindu Hasham from Assam. In a press release, DPO president K. Naben and DWWSN president Moromi Hojai said such “beastly act” perpetrated on the child was beyond human tolerance. They said in the process if anybody tried to bail out the accused under any circumstances, those person (s) would be held responsible for any untoward incident that may occur. The Dimasa bodies also urged law enforcing authority not to grant bail. The organization conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
