Units back ANGPTA demand

All Nagaland Graduate Primary Teachers Association (ANGPTA) Longleng unit has extended support to the appealed made by its central body to the government for promotion of all the deserving in-service graduate primary teachers with graduate pay scale.
In a press release, ANGPTA Longleng unit president K. Phaulem Phom urged the government to take up the matter at the earliest.
Meanwhile, ANGPTA Zunheboto unit also supported to ANGPTA central body demand to the government for promotion of graduate and post graduate primary teachers with graduate pay scale and to do away with the present system of the department where primary teachers with higher qualification were “discriminated in the field promotion.” The unit also asked the government to consider the matter positively as the demands were justified.
