SN lauds; appeals

September 25, 2014 | by admin

Survival Nagaland (SN) has lauded the action taken by DCCI President Hokivi Chishi and New market business association president for taking up the case of molestation of a Naga girl by one Ahad Uddin and expelling the culprit from Dimapur. SN media cell however has expressed concern whether the expulsion was indefinite or whether Naga women were safe from the culprit in the future.  SN also pointed out that with Dimapur not under the purview of ILP, IBIs like Ahad Uddin has every chance to come back in disguise and settle in any parts of Nagaland to carry on with his nefarious acts on Naga women.  Meanwhile, SN has appealed the government to initiate to bring Dimapur and “under towns” in the border (not covered by ILP) under the purview of ILP to prevent further influx of IBIs in the state.
