NSCN (K) Chang region responds to FGN statement

Responding to a news item “FGN responds to chairman NSCN (K) Chang region”, which was issued by CHQ, Eastern Command, Naga Army (FGN), ‘major’ N. Yaolai and published on September 25, the NSCN (K) Chang region chairman Imlongnukshi Chang said the statement of major’ Yaolai “shows his frustration out of his shame as he cannot escape the humiliation from Nagas for his cheap propaganda if discussed in open public platform.”
In a press release, NSCN (K) Chang region chairman Imlongnukshi Chang stated that “maj” N. Yaolai should read his write–ups guided by qualified persons so as to avoid confusion over his claim that “I have no knowledge about Naga army.”
Chang region chairman said “being the responsible authority of Chang region” he was looking after the “needs and wants of Naga armies of Chang region from head to toe”, adding that he knew them personally starting from private to officers.
Chang said he did not mention about cadres from other tribes or other groups who had joined FGN (NA) but wrote against those Chang cadres using the name of Chang region NSCN (K) that they were not from Chang region.
He said “maj.” N. Yaolai can also refer back earlier press statements published under the headline “FGN Chang region welcomes cadres” on 9/ 4/2014, “NSCN Chang region on defection of cadres” published on 13/4/2014, “FGN Chang region replies to NSCN (K) Chang region chairman” published on 21/4/2014; “NSCN (K) responds to FGN allegation” published on 22/4/2014 and “NSCN (K) Chang region replies to FGN Chang region” published on 23/4/2014.
Imlongnukshi Chang said all these write-ups with dates were a reminder to clear the doubts and confusion.
