DEOs direct teachers

District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima, has informed all the heads of GHSSs/ GHSs under Kohima district to collect the affidavit format which is to be filled up by all the teachers from the office of the DEO Kohima and positively submit the same to the office on or before October 28 for onward submission to the Director, School Education. It said that failure to comply with the directive would invite stringent punitive action.
Meanwhile, DEO Phek has informed all teachers under Phek District to obtain affidavit format which is to be executed under the signature of first class judicial magistrate stating that the teacher should not keep proxy teacher in the school.
It informed that the affidavit format in judicial stamp paper is available at DEO Phek office and respective Sub Divisional Education Offices. Further, DEO said that the affidavit format should reach DEO Office on or before October 25 and further warned that salary would be withheld for those teachers who fail to submit the format in time.
