Parliamentary secretary for school education Yitachu launched Career Cliniq Smart Tutor “The Education Power Pack” here Saturday.
Speaking to the gathering at the function, Yitachu expressed optimism that central government would offer the state to frame its own educational system so students did not confine only within the state but compete with the rest of the country.
Yitachu said the smart tutor product must reach the remotest areas so that state could claim the level of literacy percentage in the state else it would be like “cheating ourselves”.
Also, parliamentary secretary asked the department to incorporate syllabus in a proper way so students were not mislead.
Reiterating on the shortage of teachers, Yitachu said though there were more than 3000 teacher shortage, he said if the aim of DoSE was to employ only teachers that would be wrong. Appointment of teachers should be with purpose, he added.
Further, the parliamentary secretary said up-gradation of science stream in higher secondary schools in the state was in pipeline though the state was under financial constrained to provide laboratories.
He said DoSE’s aim was to give more opportunities to the students.
Yitachu insisted Career Cliniq to identify ten schools in bigger districts and five schools in smaller districts to have thorough deliberations on the new products as it could play substitute to impact education particularly in science subjects.
Demonstrating the product Dr. Anirban Choudhury said Career Cliniq Smart Tutor was a revolutionary product for a student to self learn in the most exciting and ‘fun’ way with digital contents of their entire school courseware in the form of 3D animation videos as well as live real-life videos.
He said CCST was probably the most easy to use education solution created so far and it was powered with rich content and advanced software ecosystem.
The Smart Tutors would be initially installed in the Teachers common room in the schools so that teachers could study the subjects and enter their respective classes with greater confidence and clarity. Even the product could be used to set the question papers and do solutions of various maths and science problems within seconds.
