Nagaland Governor P. B. Acharya has extended his greetings to the members of the Armed Forces on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day which being observed from December 7. In a message, Acharya congratulated Armed Forces personnel deployed in of Nagaland for their “exceptional contribution to the peace and security of the people and the unity and integrity of the nation. According to a DIPR report, Acharya appealed all to contribute generously towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, which would go a long way in supplementing the effort of the governments for welfare of war widows, disabled soldiers and the ex-servicemen and serving soldiers and aid to civil authority to include natural calamities and disaster.
