Release pending salaries: ANIDFSAJF

All Nagaland Inter-Departmental Field Staff Association Joint Forum (ANIDFSAJF) has appealed the state government to release pending salaries of the Work-Charged (W/C) employees of all departments.
In a press release, ANIDFSAJF sessional secretary K. Atovi Awomi said the W/C employees were facing “untold difficulties” to clear their children’s school and admission fees. He informed many children of W/C employees have been held back by their school authorities due to non-clearance of school fees and most students have been deprived of education as admission for their next session is going to be over.
ANIDFSAJF also appealed the government to complete the verification process of W/C employees in respective districts which were yet to conduct the same as early as possible. The forum further requested the cabinet committee to issue regularization and RoP orders within December 31, 2014 as per the Gauhati High Court order. ANIDFSAJF warned that if the government failed to do the same, the forum would be compelled to resort to agitation.
