Reacting to news reports in a section of the local press, Governor of Nagaland P.B.Acharya expressed “dismay” that the reports cited that “animated suspension” of the state assembly had been recommended by the Governor to the Centre.
Dominic Yazokie, joint director IPR and PRO to Raj Bhavan in a communiqué said the “false report is emphatically being denied by the Governor as conveyed through the Raj Bhavan”.
Further, the PRO made it known to all that ‘such sensitive news reportings, should invariably be thoroughly verified from the appropriate authority before being published in the papers”.
