Tikhir Students’ Union (TSU), the apex students body of the Tikhir tribe, has apprised the Executive Engineer NH 202 on damage of iron bridge below Sekiur village and appealed for immediate repair before the onset of monsoon session. Stating that the temporary road which passes along the river side would no longer be used with the onset of rainy session, TSU has appealed to the concerned department to look into the matter on priority in the interest of the public in Kiphire and Tuensang districts.
Meanwhile, TSU has expressed graduate to 46 Assam Rifles for conducting a medical camp on March 7 at our TSU Hq. Anatongre where more than 200 patients were given free treatment and medicines. TSU mentioned that Assam Rifles are not only discharging duty for defending the nation but also initiating in different developments in public sector in various parts of the state like healthcare, schools and sanitation etc.
