GPRN/NSCN has issued ‘first warning’ to any person/ individual involving in collection of tax and cautioned that any person caught by the GPRN indulging in such ‘unwarranted acts’ would be strictly dealt with an iron hand adding the guilty would attract ‘capital punishment.’
GPRN/NSCN through MIP has issue the statement following receipt of information through various quarters and reliable sources that certain individuals/ persons/ groups were collecting taxes in the name of NSCN (K) and the newly floated NSCN R (Reformation)’
Stating that the public were already heavily burdened by ‘multiple taxation,’ it said GPRN/NSCN had seriously viewed and would not tolerate vested elements imposing taxes in the name of NPG’s for their own personal benefit.
The GPRN/NSCN, while being concerned over ‘multiple taxations’ which has heavily weighted down upon the public, requested the public to cooperate and inform the GPRN immediately through the ‘Town Command’ on phone no. 9856854432 without fear or hesitation.
