NPF issues ticket for M’pur ADC election

Naga People Front (NPF) has issued 73 tickets to the candidates for the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) Manipur election scheduled to be held on June 1 at the ticket distribution ceremony at NPF central office.

Addressing party workers at the NPF central office, President NPF Dr. Shurhozelie informed that NPF being the oldest regional party in the north east region has its own constitution and said if anybody wants to be a member or a representative of the party, then one should abide by it. He also reminded of the party’s first and foremost goal was to solve the naga problem imprinted in NPF constitution and also full support to the political dialogue going on between GoI and Naga underground groups.  Exuding confidence of a landslide victory at the upcoming ADC election he said NPF can play a crucial role in the formation of the next government in Manipur as “Congress will not come back”. Chairman, central committee for Manipur State unit and Parliamentary secretary,  Neiba Kronu i  informed that the official kick off campaign will be on May 15 at Senapati district.
