May 20, 2015 | by admin

Village Education Committee (VEC) Gidemi under Phek district has stated that GPS Gidemi, which was recently upgraded to GMS, was facing shortage of teachers. It has appealed to the state government to provide sufficient teachers.  Gidemi VEC chairman Vekhoyi K. Lohe stated that on seeing the plight of the shortage of teachers, the education department of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) came forward in sponsoring one private teacher as the said school was running with only four teachers. VEC chairman stated that the school required two more teachers from the state government to run the upgraded GMS effectively.  Meanwhile, Gidemi VEC expressed gratitude to CBCC for sponsoring a private teacher and enabled them to run the school.
