Kohima Police personnel manning Peducha check gate while conducting routine duties on May 5 intercepted one Tata Sumo (NL-07C-3861) and recovered 18 cases of IMFL concealed beneath the chassis of the vehicle. According to SDPO and PRO Kohima police Atu Zymvü, Tsaroba Sangtam (23) son of Aliba of Seyuchung village under Kiphire district and presently residing at PHE Colony, Kiphire and Seroba Sangtam (22) son of Totsao of Seyuchung village under Kiphire district and presently residing at PWD Colony, Kiphire were arrested for possession and transportation of the banned IMFL.
In this connection, a regular case under NLTP Act has been registered against them for conducting further investigation, said PRO Kohima.
