French ambassador in India, Francois Richier is likely to visit Nagaland in August following an invitation extended by state chief minister T.R. Zeliang. A press release from CMO media cell said that Zeliang and Richier met at New Delhi on Sunday and discussed on issues relating to investment in Nagaland.
The French Ambassador has expressed interest in investing in solar energy and cable car transportation and also investments in roads, oil and gas and piggery sectors, stated the release.
On June 27, T.R. Zeliang accompanied by parliamentary sectaries, Er Levi Rengma & Dr. Imtiwapang Aier, advisor to CM, Lalthara and other officials visited the ongoing construction site of Nagaland House R. K. Puram and staff quarters at Dwarka, New Delhi. The release stated that the chief minister has urged the contractors and the officials to deploy additional manpower and complete the projects at the earliest.
