Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) along with 19 wards panchayat held a consultative meeting on “Smart City Mission”, Friday at Kohima.
The meeting agenda focused on the perception and vision of “Smart City Mission”, its implementation and component role of the ULB and citizens.
Resource person assistant director DMA, Kezhochole Rhetso gave a power point presentation on the main concept and vision of the project.
Administrator of KMC, Kovi Meyase who chaired the programme laid emphasis on cooperation from all line departments towards the aims and objectives of “Smart City Mission”.
He also appealed the citizens of Kohima that any projects and schemes could be implemented towards making the state capital into a smart city, if the stakeholders worked closely with the government in all spheres.
