A 50-year old man was caught by the Medziphema Town Youth Organisation (MTYO) on July 27 on charge of sodomy.
The accused identified as Jamai Thakuri, son of late Khageshwar Thakuri was arrested after the victim, a minor boy reported the incident to the residents, said MTYO.
In a press release MTYO president, Asazo Kuotsu and general secretary Thejangukho Yalietsu stated that Jamai confessed to his crime.
MTYO said Jamai a resident of Piphema new (Tserü) had confessed that he had brought the minor boy from Assam about two months back to help him in paddy cultivation.
On the pretext of buying the boy watch and mobile he lured the boy for his own pleasure, claimed MTYO.
The organisation also claimed that the minor has also revealed that the accused began to watch and follow him everywhere and sodomized him thrice.
