Meek Mill is furious with Nicki Minaj for not coming to his defense in his epic feud with Drake. Now that his diss track about the Canadian rapper has fallen flat, the rapper is demanding she jump in the fray. Find out all the details!
Meek Mill, 28 is fuming that Nicki Minaj, 32 won’t publicly come to his defense in his online rap war with Drake, 28. His July 30 response track, “Wanna Know,” was met with a tepid response from fans, and then more taunting from Drake. Now, Meek wants Nicki to stick up for him.
“Meek’s not feeling Nicki right now. He’s really hurt over the fact that she’s not jumping in and defending him in this war with Drake. He literally wants her to say, ‘F*** You’ to Drake. He wants her to choose sides,” a Meek insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. So far, the “Anaconda” singer hasn’t called out Drake, whom she’s friends with.
The bad blood has been going on for a week now, after Meek accused Drake of using a ghostwriter for lyrics. Drake fired back with two scorching diss tracks — “Charged Up” and “Back To Back,” which made Meek the butt of jokes and memes all over the internet. With lyrics on the latter including, “Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers/You gettin’ bodied by a singin’ n****” and “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?” Drake put Meek on blast and mocked his status with Nicki.
We know Nicki isn’t above online drama. After going on a rant about not getting a VMA Best Video Nomination for “Anaconda,” she fell into a mini-feud with Taylor Swift recently. As we previously reported, “Just when she got finished with the Taylor Swift controversy, Nicki was thrust into the beef between Meek and Drake. She hates it, as well as all the other drama, and thinks that the entire thing is stupid.”
