Extortion: 76 arrested in 3 months, says Police

During the second quarter of the year 2015 (April-June), the state police have registered 45 cases relating to extortion/illegal taxation and arrested 76 persons in connection with those cases. According to Nagaland police PRO, during the same period, police also recovered 10 lost/stolen vehicles and registered eight cases against 15 persons. Police also registered 102 cases under the NLTP Act and booked 126 persons.
