Hear New Chvrches Jam ‘Never Ending Circles’

This new CHVRCHES album is gonna be bananas. 

From all we’ve hard so far, their forthcoming sophomore album sounds like textbook ante-upping over everything that worked well the first time around. Iain Cook and Martin Doherty’s synth soundscapes are a whirring, glistening trip, and Lauren Mayberry sounds even more confident in blasting out looks. You heard it on CHVRCHES’ lead single “Leave a Trace,” and here it is again on their latest song, “Never Ending Circles”: The new album is called Every Open Eye and it’s due out Sept. 25 on Glassnote.  Last month at Pitchfork Music Festival, CHVRCHES performed “Leave a Trace” and another new song called “Clearest Blue” live.
