Service rules of judicial employees in Nagaland have been finalised and judicial employees in the state were receiving pay structure as recommended by Shettey Commission. This was stated by Nagaland Judicial Employees Association (NJEA) president Dietholie Cahdi, while addressing the general conference of All India Judicial Employees Confederation (AIJEC) held at Hyderabad on August 30.
Apart from Cahdi, NJEA vice president Nilokgeka Chishi also took part in the conference, which was jointly organised by Judicial Employees of Andhra Pradesha and Telangana.
In his speech, Cahdi said some important posts like sherishtadar, chief administrative officer and process server which are needed for lower judiciary are yet to be created. He also thanked judicial employees of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for holding the conference and giving opportunities to all judicial employees of the state to gather together. He also expressed gratitude to All India Judicial Employees Confederation (AIJEC) president Dr Shakil A. Moin for inviting them to the conference.
All the state unit presidents of the Confederation were given five minutes each to speak at the conference.
In the conference, all state units’ presidents have been nominated as vice presidents of AIJEC. Notably, All Nagaland Judicial Ministerial Staff Association (ANJMEA) has been affiliated to AIJEC.
