Nagaland Institute of Health, Environment & Social Welfare (NIHESW) Kohima in collaboration with National Informatics Centre (NIC) Kohima as host studio, organized National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) district level workshop through multipoint video conferencing in Longleng, Dimapur, Phek, Peren and Mon on September 14.
Resource persons were director of NIHESW, Kohima Dr. Vizovol Mekro and state co-ordinator NCSC, Kohima Santu Thapa.
The workshop was participated by teachers from the mentioned districts through NIC studios at their respective districts. The participants were briefed on how to go about in preparing NCSC projects on the focal theme: “Understanding, Weather and Climate”.
The organizer thanked DIO, Kohima J.G. Lorin Rengma, SIO, NIC, DIOs of the districts and district coordinators for making all the arrangements in connecting the districts and making the workshop a successful one.
State Coordinator NCSC, NIHESW, Kohima Santu Thapa informed all interested schools to participate in NCSC programme by sending their details to State Coordinating Agency, NIHESW, opposite to Commissioner’s office, Old Secretariat Complex, Kohima.
DoSW & RN informs: Directorate of Sainik Welfare & Resettlement Nagaland (DoSW&RN) has informed all ex – servicemen pensioners and widows family pensioners having any anomalies regarding pensions to approach respective Zila Sainik Welfare offices or DoSW & RN, Kohima by September 20 with photocopy of PPO, bank account number and mobile number to resolve the issue on priority.
