MMCD holds meeting; resolves

Muslim Milad Committee Dimapur (MMCD) held its meeting on October 4. During the meeting the hose elected Sabir Ahmed as its new convener and relieved Haji M.U. Choudhury from his convener ship on medical grounds.   
In a press release issued by convener Sabir Ahmed stated that the house also resolved to endorse the earlier decision of the committee to boycott the Idgah management till the time the present committee remains in the office. 
During the meeting house also recalled the contribution made by different founder members of the community, to establish the Idgah ground and reminded the community that Idgah is the asset of Muslim of Dimapur by “liberal and dynamic leader” late Anwar Hussain, MMCD ex-minister of Nagaland. Muslim Milad Committee Dimapur further urged upon the Muslims of Dimapur to remain indebted to the family of the founder members.
