Office of the chief medical officer (CMO) Dimapur has informed all the private practitioners in clinics, hospitals and government institutions in Dimapur district to cooperate with the district hospital authority in matters relating to the cases of dengue by sending blood samples of suspected dengue cases to the Sentinel Site Libratory at district hospital Dimapur for confirmation. In a press release, CMO Dimapur Dr. M.A. Wati also requested doctors, either in private or government setups, not to go to the press without the knowledge of the district health authority so as not to create unnecessary panic among general public.
