37 AR nabs two with arms

Troops of 37 Assam Rifles claimed to have carried out two successful operations on separate occasions and arrested two arms smugglers from various places in and around Dimapur, PRO said Tuesday.
On October 15, one person was intercepted at Ward No-4, Chumukedima and during frisking one.22 pistol and four live rounds and mobile phone recovered. The apprehended individual was identified as Keneiselhou Angami (33) and handed over to Diphupar Police Station on the same day.
In the second operation on October 16, 37 Assam Rifles after a hot pursuit from 7th mile, Chumukedima managed to apprehend one person with .38 revolver from his possession from Super Market area, Dimapur. The apprehended person was identified as Levi Kiba (36), son of late Lukhe Kiba. He was handed over to Dimapur East police station on the same day.
