19-year old Toimei who aspires to be a renowned musician was crowned Miss Longleng 2015 in a glittering ceremony on Friday October 23, at Government Higher Secondary School Longleng.
While Leom was crowned first runner up and Manshi was crowned the second runner up.
The 10th edition of Miss Longleng 2015 was organized by Yingla Welfare Society (YWC) under the theme ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’.
Judges for the event included SBI Longleng manager-L.Gangte, Longleng EAC-Zhoi Lohe, Yingli College, Longleng assistant professors-Konchem and Thsingvi Sangtam and Longleng EAC-Changsang Soted.
The Miss Longleng 2015 was sponsored by chief guest of the event B.D.O-L.Namchei, Nyathei Pangnyu, Asangla Nganlang and Senti Toyang while the sub title winners prize were sponsored by Vitoli Toshi Angh, SDO (Civil) Longleng Japhath, additional SP Longleng-Yanger, Government High School headmistress Shamthai Angam and Pongchai.
In first of its kind the chief guest presented cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the Miss Lucky 2015 through a lottery among the contestants where Toimei the newly crowned Miss Longleng 2015 was lucky enough to receive the Miss Lucky.
The Yingla Welfare Society which has been organizing Miss Longleng for the 10th year received generous contribution from Minister for Transport & Civil Aviation, IT C.Paiwang Konyak, N. Shüngkong, former Miss Longleng Choilung and Moiphen and Langba.
On the 10th edition of Miss Longleng 2015 the Yingla Welfare Society released its first calendar.
The sub title winners were:

Miss Photogenic – Toimei.
Ethnic Wear – Namshon.
Miss Talented – Leom.
Miss Congeniality – Manshi.
Miss Beautiful Skin – Pangla.
