CYA organizes ‘Autumn Fest ’15’

Catholic Youth Association, Holy Cross Parish organized an Autumn Fest ’15 at Holy Cross Auditorium, here Saturday.
Speaking in the fest as the chief guest, commanding officer, Rangpahar, Col. S.R.Nair said the church gives great opportunities to a person which if properly utilized, can make a person smart and independent.
Recalling his childhood days where he served in his church parish under a bishop, Nair expressed his longing to be posted to a place close to his parish. Nair also said exposure in church activities was what made him who he was today and he exhorted the gathered youths to make good use of the platform provided by the church.
Guest of honour for the fest was Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre principal, Petehetuo Miasalhou.
Comperes for the fest were Ketho Angelus and Mhabeni Esther. The evening was marked with songs, dances, musical pieces, orchestra, cultural show, fashion show, band performances, martial arts exhibition etc.
