Best of Karaoke 2015 by Northeast Promotional Team

Northeast Promotional Team is all set to organize an event ‘Best of Karaoke 2015 (Sur Sangam)’ where music lover can sing along with Karaoke and also get a chance to win cash prizes.
Age limit for the event will be 15 years and above and participants can sing in either Hindi, English or both and only with soundtrack. Participants will be required to bring atleast five to ten songs for the competition.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges basing on their live performance. First prize for the winner will be Rs 30K along with certificate while the first and second runners-up will receive Rs 10K and Rs 5K accordingly with certificates.
The winning participants will also get a chance to contest in the upcoming Northeast idol 2016 for the seven Northeastern states starting from January 2016.

Pantera, Ozzy, Metallica stars lead all-star Lemmy tribute lineup
The lineup has been revealed for the all-star band that will help pay tribute to Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister at this week’s Bass Player LIVE! All-Star Concert and Awards Ceremony. Lemmy will be receiving the Bass Player Lifetime Achievement Award from Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo during the event this Saturday, November 7th at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.
The award presentation will be followed by all-star concert paying tribute to the Motorhead icon which will feature bassist Trujillo, Rex Brown (Kill Devil Hill, Pantera), Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne), and dUg Pinnick (King’s X, Grinder Blues, Pinnick/Gales/Pridgen). They will be joined by guitarist Lita Ford, Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe) and Chuck Billy (Testament) on vocals and musical director Tommy Rickard (Scott Weiland, Linda Perry) on drums.
DT Confirm ‘Astonishing’ album title following leak
Dream Theater (DT)  have confirmed that their upcoming 13th album will be called The Astonishing. The follow-up to 2013’s self-titled effort will be released in early 2016, the band say.
They moved quickly to confirm the title after promoters in Europe leaked it on a number of tour posters. Dream Theater say in a Facebook posting: “And so it begins…our new album is entitled The Astonishing, and we cannot wait to share it with you early next year.” Earlier this week the band confirmed they would play the album in its entirety on their 2016 European tour, which starts in London on February 18.
