First annual meeting-cum-get together of the NPF Baghty valley unit under 40 Bhandari A/C was held on October 30 at Baghty town.
The meeting was attended by NPF Wokha division officials, 40 Bhandari NPF officials, women wing, youth wing and members who have recently joint NPF from other political parties and NPF active and primary members.
According to NPF Baghty valley unit, general secretary, Yanbemo Yanthan the meeting was addressed by vice president NPF Wokha division, Tachow Lotha. He appealed to the members to remain faithful, as the NPF manifesto stood for peaceful political settlement of the protracted Naga political issue.
Party also resolved to support the leadership of NPF party president Dr. Shurhozelie, chief minister T. R. Zeliang, convener legal cell cum central executive member NPF Achumbemo Kikon for their political acumen and leadership.
Others who spoke included president NPF 40 Bhandari A/C, Michael Khongdongya Odyuo, women wing, youth wing in the the meeting chaired by NPF Baghty valley unit president, Chumdemo Lotha, invocation by Phyjamo Ezung, vote of thanks by Yanbemo Yanthan and benediction by Ramongo Ngullie.
