One-day orientation-cum-training workshop for Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) under Zunheboto district was organized by District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Zunheboto on November 6 at district court complex with PLV Rebecca Chophy as resource person.
In the programme, Chophy spoke on functions, role and duties of PLV while assistant public prosecutor Bendanginla exhorted the volunteers to be dedicated in performing their duties and assist the weaker section at village level.
Earlier, keynote address and overview of the topic was presented by panel lawyer DLSA, Zunheboto Tovi Z.Yeptho. The government was attended by 12 legal aid and support centres.
