Dimapur police under Zone-I seized fake Indian currency with face value of Rs. 55,000 and arrested one person on November 18, addl dy. commissioner of police/PRO said Friday.
PRO said fake notes- 49 no of 1000 dominations and 12 no of 500 denominations were seized from the possession of Changlu Zeliang son of Chali Zeliang at Blue Hill Station, Dimapur.
Investigation to ascertain the source and others involved under progress, PRO said.
