As a start off to various health programs under national AYUSH mission, AYUSH health camp was organized by Nagaland AYUSH health society and directorate of health and family welfare at Chedema Village on December 9.
Altogether eight doctors Dr. Seyiekhrietuo John, Dr. Tiakaba, Dr. Mary, Dr. Orentsuni, Dr. Visino, Dr. Khrielienou, Dr. Imlitoshi and Dr. Shasinlo participated in the camp.
Around 256 villagers were given free medical check-up and free medicine was distributed.
The medical team also donated instruments like stethoscope, specmenometer and weight machines etc to ANMS and ASHA workers of the village sub-centre and head teacher of Government Middle school who were present in the camp.
The camp concluded with a yoga demonstration by Yoga Instructor Kelhouzasie Lawrence. Earlier, welcome note was delivered by Chedema village council Chairman, Sabeituo, while chairman village health committee, Kruvilie pronounced an invocation.
