First ever cosplay competition “Mokos” in Mokokchung was held at P. Shilu Park as part of the celebration of 125 years of Mokokchung. There were 16 participants in the open category while only participated in the chibi category.
The judging was done by the officials from Nagaland Anime Junkies (NAJ) Kohima and the following were adjudged winners:
1st: Sungjemen (Hanji)
2nd: Odiben (Mikasa)
3rd: Chuba (Bucky)
Also the following participants were awarded consolation prizes:
Alemchizung (Hidan), Alila (Erza), Chinook (Gaara), Nukmen (Death) and Akai (Ichigo). Meanwhile the one and only chibi participant Imlinaro (Red Riding Hood) was awarded with a consolation prize. The prizes for the competition included cash to the first three winners and the champion was awarded with a limited edition of ‘Manga’ sponsored by NAJ. The consolation prizes included merchandise both for open category as well as chibi.
