The Saturday Night Live organized by the Sümi Students Union Delhi (SKKD) was held successfully at IMC hall Dimapur, Friday with renowned musicians including Alobo Naga, Livika Swu, Aloke Yepthomi and Girls Excess.
The unplugged concert was neatly delivered as the artistes took turns to present their rendition of contemporary and classic songs.
Accompanied by Lima Mungro on the guitars, Girls Excess band, a trio group of young girls belted out some popular pop songs to the crowd of a few hundreds.
Finalist of Naga Idol 2010, Livika Swu took the stage and performed a couple of renditions followed by the winner of You Know You Got It, Aloke Yepthomi.
Alobo Naga performed his original ‘Chasing Ghosts’ from his upcoming album along with a few other songs including the famous bollywood song from Sholay movie ‘Yeh Dosti’.
The concert was organized by SKKD to raise funds for their upcoming Silver Jubilee celebrations.
Parliamentary Secretary for IPR Khekaho Assumi was among the host of well wishers gracing the concert.
Earlier Sumi Baptist Church senior pastor Rev Vitoshe invoked God’s blessings while SKKD president proposed the vote of thanks.
