Project 72 hours, would be commencing their first community service for this year, with the theme pollution and cleanliness on January 19.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, Sievituo Solo informed that a team of six would start cleaning Kohima town, starting at TCP gate from 8 am to 10 am. He said anybody could join the community service, where aprons and garbage bags would be provided.
Underlining the choice of theme for this year, Solo appraised that project 72 hours would be addressing the issue of pollution through dust, caused by the road condition in the capital. He informed that last year’s project was completed in six months time, which did not bring much change but gathered momentum in creating awareness.
It may be mentioned that last year, apart from cleaning Kohima town, Project 72 hours collaborated with educational institutions such as Dainty Buds School, Fernwood School, Mezhür Hr Sec School, Oriental College and Baptist College to create awareness on sanitation and cleanliness.
