Amahator area farmers club organise sales day

Twenty one Self help Groups (SHGs) from Amahator area sold various items at the sales day organized by Amahator area farmers club on January 25.
The event was sponsored by department of Land Resources Kiphire and graced by SDO (C) Kiphire, Lankonsen Tsanglao.
SDO said that this kind of event should be encouraged so that people don’t have to go to other districts for buying vegetables. He also encouraged the farmers club to organise such program in Kohima or Dimapur instead of confining to Kiphire alone.
DPO land resource, Ahozhe who attended the program as judges also appreciated the Amahator area farmers club for being consistently organising such programme from time to time and assured possible help in future.
Hurong village SHG, bagged first prize, while Changchore and Yingshükur village SHG bagged 2&3 prize respectively. More than 100 products were put up for sale.
