Mangkolemba SDPDB meet discusses road connectivity

Mangkolemba Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) members on Saturday discussed road connectivity and other agendas ADC office under the chairmanship of ADC & vice- chairman SDPDB, Imtiwapang Aier. 
According to DIPR report, during the meeting the members deliberated on the agenda submitted by Changdang Village Council seeking assistance for construction of Agri -Link road.
In this regard, the board decided that a proper physical verification would be undertaken by DBs, whereupon on its feasibility the board would forward the matter to the concern department. 
Discussing on the activities undertaken by Railtel which has caused huge damage to road connectivity in the sub division, the board decided that the nodal officer of the agency concern would be given 10 days time to meet executive engineer PWD and ADC to discuss the matter. Failing which, it said the same would result to suspension of work in the sub division.
In the meeting, the ADC also placed the report regarding the village tour undertaken by the SDPDB members to Alongkima circle/ Changkikong range on February 9 and 10. After a deliberation and verification all the concern departments agreed to forward the findings to the head of departments for further necessary actions. 
Earlier, Imtiwapang Aier welcomed all the board members and briefed on the bandh that was called by various NGOs in Assam and the recent situation relating to Assam Nagaland border areas. He also welcomed L. Koshih könyak, the new Tsurangkong BDO. 
Meanwhile, the board also decided that the next SDPDB members village tour would be on March 17 and 18 covering Longchem circle/Japukong range.
