ATMA Zunheboto held a District Farmers Advisory Committee (DFAC) meeting on March 8 at the DC conference hall.
A press release by deputy PD ATMA Zunheboto, Avitoli K. Yeptho stated that during the meeting various activities and achievements of ATMA in the district level were highlighted.
The members also opined that the crops like kiwi, cardamom, potato etc. are doing well for which more of technical inputs and marketing aspects should be looked into by its agri and allied sectors in a convergent manner.
It stated that feedbacks from the members suggested that the seeds and planting materials meant for the district should be season based and well suited to the climatic condition and should reach the target farmers and therefore, asked the ATMA team to co-ordinate with its concerned departments for effective implementation.
The meeting was chaired by DSCO & PD ATMA, Zhekheto Awomi where he also expressed his gratitude to the DFAC members for their positive response and feedbacks.
