Book on Naga poets & fiction writers in English released

A book titled “critical essays on Naga poets & fiction writers” authored by former professor & HoD English, Nagaland University, Dr. Fr. A. J. Sebastian SDB was released on March 20. 
Organizers Thesuo-ü, Lhoulie-ü and Lhoukru-ü chose the rural setting of Meriema village as venue for the book release, with HoD English, Baptist College Kohima, Dr. Vizovono Elizabeth giving the introductory on the book. 
The volume is a compendium of critical essays on contemporary Naga writers presenting their “Weltanschauung” of life which was an eye-opener to their personal philosophy of  human life and the universe.  Writers like Temsula Ao, Easterine Kire, Monalisa Changkija, Nini Lungalang and Avinuo Kire explore contemporary issues of the society and human predicament in its multiple dimensions, coupled with lyrical exuberance.  The foreword of the book was written by professor & HoD English, NU Kohima campus, Dr. Nigamananda who described Dr. Fr. A. J. Sebastian SDB as a promoter of creative and critical writings in English in Nagaland for over a decade.
