Reacting to the report ‘6 private clinics in Wokha under scanner’, Nursing Staff of Dr Motsuo Memorial District Hospital (DMMDH) Wokha has sought clarification from the Nagaland Medical Council (NMC).
On behalf of the nursing staff, in a press note, assistant nursing superintendent of the hospital, Zubeni sought clarification on the allegation that NMC found irregularities among the nursing staff.
Zubeni pointed out that, as practiced all over the world, the nursing staff at the hospital attend duty 24×7 in three shifts (morning, evening and night).
The assistant nursing superintendent stated that when the Nagaland Medical Counicl team visited Dr Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha on February 17, all the nursing staff for the morning roster were on duty and escorted all the said officials to all sections of the hospital like labour room, operation theatre, etc., apart from detailed interaction with one of the said team members.
The nursing staff of Dr Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha sought clarification from the Nagaland Medical Council as to what they meant by the allegation, which it said had done much damage to their reputation.
