KVSU conducts career guidance programme

Kohima Village Students’ Union (KVSU) conducted a career guidance programme for students of classes 9-12 under the theme “at a crossroad” at Kohima Village Council hall, Saturday with retired director SCERT Vipralhou Kesiezie as the resource person.
Addressing the students, Kesiezie advised them to choose their career wisely as per their capabilities and interest without as wrong decisions would not yield good result. He told the students that they should plan and prepare before choosing what would be suitable for them.
Reminding the students that they should not focus only on getting a government job, he said they should look beyond it and opt for a career keeping in mind their own interest and talent.
Urging the students to believe in themselves, Kesiezie said they should be confident and strive hard to achieve their goal.   
In a motivational talk, former head and professor department of English Nagaland University, Dr. Fr. A.J. Sabestian advised the students to think and study smart to make a difference in life and in choosing the right career. 
Challenging them to work hard, he advised the students to cultivate the habit of writing and reading to increase knowledge and to keep self updated.
The programme was chaired by GS KVSU Noumviizolie Sachii, invocation prayer was said by Ruokuovituo Robert from Catechist Christ King Church, special song was presented by Mhaphruonuo Rutsa while vote of thanks was proposed by Khrietuo Pienyii VP KVSU. Hundred students attended the career guidance programme.
