Absconding rapist apprehended

Absconding rapist of a minor schoolgirl from Tesophenyu has been apprehended by administration and police of Tseminyu on April 26.   In a joint press release Tesophenyu Group Students’ Union president, A. P. Francis, Tesophenyu Group Womens’ Union president, Elia Rita Tsela and Tesophenyu Group Youth organization president, K. David Magh have strongly demanded that the culprit should be accorded befitting punishment as per the law of the land.    The organisations have also thanked the ADC, EAC and OC of Tseminyu and SDPO & IO (women cell) of North Police Station Kohima and Tesophenyu village council for the cooperation and support in apprehending the culprit.
