Dimapur Sumi Students Union (DSSU) first phase wise education tour by holding joint consultative meeting at DC court area sector. The tour was held with an objective to streamline and centralize all its units and stakeholders.
DSSU toured its 12 units/areas wherein joint consultative meeting was held with area GBS, Sumi Council, STH, Church leaders, area elders and students.
During the tour, DSSU president Tovika K Chishi highlighted the activities the union and its upcoming programme. He further appealed for cooperation and prayer support from its units and parents. The union said the main objective of the tour was to bring all stakeholders of DSSU under one roof, to have consultations and exchange ideas for the welfare of the Sumi students in particular and Sumi community in general.
DSSU has also informed that its 2nd phase tour of schools and colleges would start in the month of June, wherein it would have joint meeting with Sumi students. The union informed that circulars and working schedule would be passed on to the authorities for their reference and further appealed for their cooperation and support.
