While stating that academic session was in its mid-session, the federation said that the students have been compelled to appear their first quarterly examination without textbooks.

The three demands of NSF include: To distribute all the textbooks to the students by May 16, 2016; government must give assurance that textbooks will be distributed to the students at the start of the academic session from the next academic session and state vigilance commission be invited and action be taken against the erring person involved.
